We are currently hiring talented and motivated Area Sales Managers and will be granting the opportunity to the strongest candidates we interview.

This full time, permanent position is available immediately and will be accompanied by a personal development for a career in New Home Sales. The Area Sales Manager is a rewarding position and, with Trico, has the potential of earning commission of over $150,000.00/year, based on historic compensation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the Area Sales Team to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets while creating the most positive and memorable customer experience;
  • Work collaboratively with operational departments to manage customer expectations and foster the customer relationship through the purchase experience and building process;
  • Organize and complete all necessary paperwork and ensure the accuracy and maintenance of customer files;
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism and quality within sales centre and the presentation of signage and marketing materials;
  • Respond quickly to customer concerns and the coordination of information or solutions to apparent challenges;
  • Acquire customer registrations and manage “lead” records within a database;
  • Coach and mentor Sales Associates, using training resources and the critical path for sales, to enhance sales and service skills.

Qualities & Qualifications

  • Completion of a four-year University Degree;
  • Five or more years of experience working in sales, with a proven ability to consistently exceed targets;
  • Qualified in New Home Sales with notable achievements;
  • Highly professional appearance;
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them on time and with accuracy;
  • An ownership mindset and a strong sense of urgency;
  • Belief in a high standard for customer care and service;
  • An interest to complete work with precision and excellence;
  • Strong leadership skills with excellent verbal and written communications;
  • Ability to coach and mentor others constructively and with enthusiasm;
  • Highly driven individual resulting in documentable accomplishments;
  • Embraces variable pay-for-performance compensation model;
  • A strong moral charter and a team oriented perspective;
  • Ambitious and driven;
  • Strong computer skills and experience working with applications including MS Outlook, Word, Excel and the internet;
  • Passion for learning and a willingness to complete the provided training and utilize available development tools;
  • Available to work a demanding schedule, including evenings and weekends.

This position is a launching point to a rewarding career in new home sales and will be accompanied by a personal development plan to become an Area Sales Manager in Calgary or Area.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with the Area Sales Manager to achieve sales goals and business objectives;
  • Provide consistent support to manage customer expectations and foster the customer relationship through the purchase experience and building process;

  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them on time and with accuracy;
  • Ownership thinking and a sense of urgency;
  • Keen attention to detail and strong organization skills while working with official documents and correspondence;
  • Strong computer skills and experience working with applications including MS Outlook, Word, Excel and the internet;
  • Passion for learning and a willingness to complete the provided training and utilize available development tools;
  • A strong moral charter and a team oriented perspective;
  • Available to work a demanding schedule, including evenings and weekends.
