Verona great room leaves towering impression
Friday, June 01, 2018
After looking through dozens of home options, sometimes there’s a space that stops a person in their tracks.
For Celina-Dee Forand and Stephen Torriero, that was the great room in one of the show homes at Verona in Sage Hill.
Rather than the more commonly seen layouts where the kitchen, dining area and great room are on the same level, this main level is staggered, giving the great room its own space. As a result, its ceiling is a soaring 12 feet six inches tall.
“I was thinking, ‘I have not seen anything like this,’” says Forand. “Out of all the places that we have seen — we probably checked out 20 other places — it spoke to me.”

‘Little gem’ of a community makes most of natural beauty next to river
Friday, April 13, 2018
For [Kevin and Lorie Blayney], the interest in relocating to Riviera started after parking in front of the spec home they would eventually purchase, while visiting Kevin’s sister.
They liked the exterior, and the list of the home’s features on a sandwich board outside the place impressed. A fun bonus was the home model’s name — Winston, a handle it shares with the couple’s bichon shih tzu. While Kevin admits the name caught their eye, “I don’t know if that has anything to do with it,” he says, laughing.
When they toured the home, it made an impression from the get-go. “As soon we walked in, we instantly said, ‘This is a beautiful home,” says Kevin.
