Five ways to build community

To meet the demand, builders are creating communities based on an ideal or a concept that reflects the buyers needs and ways of living. Residences that capture the essence of modern lifestyles with an emphasis on technology, healthy living, shared resources, outdoor spaces, common interests and values. In recognition of this, five projects have been singled out and nominated for Best Multi-Family Community Concept in the 2018 BILD Calgary Region Awards to be held April 13 at the Telus Convention Centre.

“The Delaney is a pet-friendly building, offering below market and below market accessible suites,” says Wanda Palmer, Trico’s vice-president of marketing. “Trico chose to develop this because there was a high need for inclusive housing in Mount Pleasant. The community and new community residents welcomed the development as it contributes to enhancing the overall quality of life in their community.”
