Growing family finds a place to call home in Cornerbrook

When Amin and Rozmin Lakhani learned they were expecting their first child, one of their first thoughts was that they needed a larger home — a place where he or she would grow up.

With lots backing onto the ponds and wetland areas, Amin says it was a rare opportunity for them to stay in the northeast, where they are deeply entrenched in the community, and to build a large home on a walkout lot.

They were fortunate to find a walkout lot backing onto a pond, which was perfect for Trico’s Kingston model home. At nearly 2,400 square feet, the front-drive, two-storey, move-up home has four bedrooms and a bonus room upstairs and a main floor flex room.

“I am mostly looking forward to watching the sunrise across the pond every morning and to raising our family here. We’re not sure if it’s a he or a she, but it will be his or her first home,” Amin says of their child who is expected in November.
