Trico Homes is proud to announce that we have been recognised as one of Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers (2024). This prestigious recognition highlights Trico Homes’ commitment to fostering a positive workplace environment and implementing forward-thinking human resources policies.

The Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers competition celebrates small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across the nation that excel in providing outstanding workplaces. With over half of Canada’s private-sector employment stemming from SMEs, this acknowledgment underscores the vital role these businesses play in our nation’s economy.

Trico Homes underwent rigorous evaluation by the editors of Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers, who assessed various criteria including workplace; work atmosphere & social; health, financial & family benefits; employee communications; vacation & time off; training & skills development; performance management; and community involvement. The selection process adhered to the eligibility requirements outlined by Statistics Canada, ensuring that only organizations with fewer than 500 employees worldwide were considered.

“We are honoured to be recognized as one of Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers (2024),” says Michael Brown, President & CEO of Trico Homes. “This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to prioritizing the well-being and satisfaction of our employees. At Trico Homes, we believe that a positive workplace culture is the foundation for success, and we are dedicated to creating an environment where our team members can thrive both personally and professionally.”

About Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers (2024)

Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers is an editorial competition that recognizes the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that offer the nation’s best workplaces and forward-thinking human resources policies. Canada’s SME sector is tremendously important to the nation and is responsible for over half of the country’s private-sector employment. Employers are evaluated using the same eight criteria as the national competition: Workplace; Work Atmosphere & Social; Health, Financial & Family Benefits; Vacation & Time Off; Employee Communications; Performance Management; Training & Skills Development; and Community Involvement. The selection process adheres to the SME definition used by Statistics Canada, limiting the competition to private-sector commercial organizations with under 500 employees worldwide.
