Focus on Leadership | Trico Homes: 25 years of building on its principles

More than 9,000 families have homes and countless memories have been created thanks to a company’s 25-year commitment to building homes with pride to enhance the lives of its customers and the communities they live in.

Strong leadership is a hallmark at Trico, and Wayne Chiu, the founder of Trico Homes, says his proudest achievement was seeing Trico named one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed companies for the first time in 2004.

“At that point I knew I could use the success of my business to do good in the community and ultimately create new business opportunities by creating shared value,” says Chiu, chief executive officer, who was appointed to the Order of Canada in 2015.
