In January 2014, Wayne & Eleanor Chiu made a $3 million donation to Bow Valley College toward their school of business.
Wayne Chiu is ardent about supporting lifelong, accessible learning, who served as a member of the board of directors of Calgary’s Bow Valley College for eight years. This $3 million donation that was put towards that belief marked the largest single donation in the school’s history. Recognizing the contribution, Bow Valley College named its business school the Chiu School of Business.
