On May 10, 2008, Trico Homes made a 10-year, 1.5-million-dollar commitment to the Family Leisure Centre, now known as the Trico Centre for Family Wellness. This sponsorship was one of the first of its kind and since then, Trico has led the way for local small to medium-sized businesses to support community recreation and active living. In January 2021, Trico Homes set another trailblazing example by renewing their commitment with the Trico Centre for a second 10-year term of the naming sponsorship agreement, along with a second investment of 2 million dollars.

The Trico Centre is a non-profit, community-operated fitness and wellness facility located in South Calgary, made up of three studios, two full-sized arenas, an aquatics centre, a gymnasium, multi-purpose and social spaces, on-site childcare, food services and professional service tenants. With support from Trico Homes during this 20-year strategic partnership, the Trico Centre has been able to deliver affordable fitness and wellness programs, support local events, provide outreach programs in the community and fulfill its mission of ensuring health and wellness is accessible to everyone.
