On September 14th, 2013 Trico Homes engaged in a volunteer event at the Teen Challenge ranch in Priddis, Alberta. Members of the Trico team spent the day building a deck, rebuilding barn storage and painting the staff housing. Over 25 volunteers from Trico Homes attended the event having the privilege of working alongside 20 students and staff.
Teen Challenge is a men’s rehabilitation facility where men of all ages live for one year to break free from drugs and alcohol. This program has proven to be very successful and lives are forever changed. There are 6 Teen Challenge centres across Canada and centres all over the world. Teen Challenge is a nonprofit organization with all funds coming from faithful givers. Often times funds are not available for projects such as the above; therefore things go undone.
