Trico Wellness Hub: A Cozy Retreat at Camp Kindle

Camp is a place for laughter, adventure, and connection—but sometimes it can also feel overwhelming, especially for children facing the challenges of cancer. That’s why Trico Homes is proud to help bring the Trico Wellness Hub to life at Camp Kindle, owned and operated by the Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta.

Currently under construction, the Trico Wellness Hub has been thoughtfully designed to provide a cozy retreat for campers of all ages. With whimsical touches like hippopotamus stools, animal-themed storage, and fluffy blankets, the space is meant to feel warm, safe, and comforting—like a big hug. Inside, children will find books, fidget toys, and calming activities to help them recharge before heading back into the bustle of camp life.

But this room isn’t just for kids. Adults will also find peace in this space, whether enjoying a quiet conversation by the fireplace, relaxing beside the small water feature, or stretching in the yoga corner while taking in views of the beautiful camp surroundings.

For decades, Camp Kindle has been creating magical experiences for children affected by cancer, thanks to the dedication of Kids Cancer Care. Now, with the Trico Wellness Hub, campers and their families will have one more place where comfort, connection, and healing come together.
