Congratulations to Trico Homes and its founder Mr. Wayne Chiu on Trico Homes’ 25th Anniversary and best wishes for every success in years to come.

I have known and done business with Wayne and Trico Homes for over 20 years. During that time we have either participated in areas as two of several builders, as shareholders or as Joint Venture Partners in other areas. Over the 20 years this has included some 15 or more developments in Calgary and Area. During those various business ventures I have found Wayne to be of highest integrity, a partner who paid their share, was always open to discussion and who sold at fair market value to maintain the integrity of the area. I have always experienced Wayne’s’ business style as being honourably competitive, and a person with whom I have shared a mutually respectful relationship. Most of all, I consider Wayne a good friend who I could trust to always be honest in our business and personal relationship.

My relationship with Trico began back in 2004. Over the last 13 years, we have grown and maintained a strong partnership and a deep mutual respect for one another. Trico Homes has not only been an exceptional business partner to Delta Construction, but also a great mentor and role model in leadership as well as business excellence.

I am a “year 25” relationship.  Recent, but for me, as meaningful.  Active in the Calgary community, it was normal to be highly aware of the tremendous work and commitment of Trico.  Quite an amazing story.  Quite the contributions to the well-being of Calgary and Area. Investments in youth, community wellness, health, education and so many other areas.

I write to congratulate Wayne and Eleanor for the success of Trico Homes in Calgary, a community in which we all live. In recognition of Trico Homes’ milestone in corporate Calgary, I have in my memory several events that speak to the character of the company and especially its founders.
