Trico Homes Celebrates Major Milestone by Giving Back to Calgary Charities

In April 2019, we officially completed our 10,000 home in Calgary and the surrounding area. When we reflect back to the first home Trico ever built – Leaton Place in South Calgary – to the many communities and homes we’ve created since, these past 27 years have taken our company on an extraordinary journey.

We are very excited to reach this memorable milestone. And we’d also like to thank the community that have helped us accomplish this feat:

Our community that have always stood by us as we weathered the lows and celebrated the highs in our city & industry.

Our team and trade partners who have put in countless hours to making sure our homes were designed and built of the highest quality.

And this began our 10,000 Homes Giving Back Campaign. A way for our company to thank the people above. A way to create positive impact for the community. An opportunity for us to give back.

In these next 30 days (June 15 – July 15), Trico has committed to donating $1,000 for every home sold to five Calgary charities, with the goal of raising $50,000 in total. With your help, we hope to spread even more love in the place we all call home.

The five recipient charities are:

Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS) – A leader in animal welfare, helping over 3,500 homeless animals each year.

Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), Calgary Region – Providing education and support for individuals and families living with mental illness, addiction or a loss by suicide.

Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta – Supporting and meeting the needs of the whole family at each stage of the cancer journey from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.

Women In Need Society of Calgary (WINS) – Supporting vulnerable women and their children so they can grow and contribute to our community.

Youth Central – Inspiring, engaging and celebrating youth through community participation.

It truly takes a community to build a community, and we are honoured to be able to help these charities continue the amazing work they do in Calgary.
