During this event, over 1000 members of the Sri Lankan community gathered on a beautiful Easter Sunday in Calgary to witness the legendary Marians band live in action. As Sri Lanka’s most iconic band, their electrifying performance brought joy, unity, and unforgettable memories to everyone present. What an incredible opportunity to celebrate culture and music together!

Our Dream Home

This is the first summer since 2003 that GlobalFest’s Trico Homes International Fireworks Festival won’t be lighting up the sky above Elliston Park. Instead, this year GlobalFest will focus on the OneWorld cultural programming that is an integral part of the festival experience, with a series of online events as part of Alberta Culture Days.
