Lord Beaverbrook High School Students Attend Provincial Skills Competition
In May 2025, students from Lord Beaverbrook High School (LBHS) participated in the Provincial Skills Competition in Edmonton, an event that showcases the incredible skills of high school students in diverse categories including automotive technology, culinary arts, hairstyling, welding, video production and more.
Thanks to the support of Trico Homes, the LBHS Team was able to provide an incredible experience for competitors, seeing six students win medals at provincials in categories including Car Painting, Fashion Technology, Job Skill Demonstration, Public Speaking, and Workplace Safety.
In additional, LBHS student, Lawrence Garcia, went on to represent Team Alberta at the National Competition in Regina, winning Bronze in Job Skill Demonstration. These achievements were made possible thanks to the investment Trico has made to support youth in skilled trades.
